Architecture that integrates with the urban setting
In our cities, we are surrounded by buildings that show the strong connection that exists between past and present. Some have the power to integrate into the setting without altering the authenticity of what surrounds them and, at the same time, provide added value.
A good example is the Marenostrum Tower, a modern building situated in a traditional neighborhood. Located in La Barceloneta, near the seafront, it is one of the most spectacular buildings that rises in the Barcelona skyline.
Designed by architects Enric Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue, this office building is a nod to nature with its modern and sinuous architecture, inspired by a rocky and glazed form lashed by the winds and waters of the Mediterranean.
Visual Games
The recently refurbished property has bright and open floors equipped with excellent quality finishes and facilities. Although it is difficult to highlight a single feature of this multifaceted building, its ambitious design and the interplay between the various perspectives that are projected from the different sides are striking, thus giving it a personality difficult to find anywhere else.
This gigantic kaleidoscope is covered by crystals of various shades that have a slight reflective deformation. This 'skin' changes light and always creates new images.
Undoubtedly, the Marenostrum Tower is a privileged place for users who come to its offices daily and thanks to its architecture, it has become a great attraction in the city of Barcelona for both tourists and locals.
