Member of the Colonial Steering Committee since January 2009 as Director of Corporate Development, Management Control, and Investor Relations.
Graduated in Business Administration and Management from Mannheim Business School (Germany), studied within the framework of the Multiregional International Business Programme at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona & Swansea University, and completed postgraduate studies at IESE and Harvard Business School.
He began his professional career at Unilever Group in Hamburg, taking on various responsibilities in the areas of Controlling and Finance. In 1999, he was appointed Head of Management Control at Unilever Bestfoods Germany. In 2001, he joined CaixaHolding (now Criteria), a subsidiary of the “Grupo La Caixa”, in the Corporate Development area as Director of Real Estate Investments and Senior Project Manager in the process of Criteria’s IPO. Until mid-2008, he was a director of Holret, S.A., Criteria’s French real estate subsidiary. He joined Colonial in January 2009. Until 2010, he was an associate professor of Corporate Finance at Business Engineering School La Salle and is currently an associate professor of the Master in Strategic Real Estate Management at Instituto de Empresa.
He currently holds the position of Director of Corporate Development, Management Control, and Investor Relations at Colonial since January 2009 and was a member of the Board of Directors of SFL until April 2022. He was also Vice President of the Board of Directors of the German-speaking Executives' Circle until March 2021.
