Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Barcelona. MBA from ESADE, Ramon Llull University. COSO Internal Control and COSO Enterprise Risk Management certifications from The Institute of Internal Auditors. Financial Management Program at EADA. Postgraduate studies in accounting management, management control, and internal auditing.
He began his professional career in 1996 as the head of accounting management for a service sector company. Later, he joined Sony Spain, S.A. performing controller tasks in the Financial area. In December 1999, he joined Colonial in the financial area, and since 2005 he has performed the functions of head of accounting and business administration. From 2014, he assumed responsibility for Colonial's Internal Audit, currently coordinating internal audit and risk management work at the Group level.
